Humanitarian Care
WOF-UA is at the forefront of responding to the wartime needs of Ukrainian women and girls and reaching women with critical information and life-saving resources. Embedding fully in the communities in which they provide assistance allows WOF-UA to meet immediate needs, without duplicating the efforts of other NGOs. Less than 1% of international aid to Ukraine has been allocated to women and girls, and WOF-UA is hard at work advocating for this demographic. WOF-UA has provided:
290 e-bicycles to Ukrainian healthcare workers, supporting 130,000+ monthly home visits to patients.
Essential equipment to maternity wards, including a CPAP system to the Dnipro Clinical Hospital, saving the lives of 10 premature babies each month.
Laptops, computer training, and staffing agency support to secure remote employment.
400+ generators to hospitals, maternity wards, schools, community centers, and small businesses.
600,000 pounds of food to Ukrainian families
Thousands of food and hygiene kits to pregnant women and new mothers
Dozens of motor pumps to pump water out of flooded basements
